Eric Blumer is the owner and driver of the #68 midget, competing in the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association.

With his dedicated weekly crew of Justin Hoium and Greg Leatherberry the team travels the greater southern Wisconsin region.

He started racing karts at the age of six and has not missed a season of racing in 19 years. He has championships in both paved road circuit karting (sprint karts) and oval dirt karts (flat karts). A local champ in Legends racing, he's finished as high as fourth in INEX National points.

From a young age, Blumer's ability to communicate with people has helped him secure sponsorships that have lasted nearly as long as he's been racing.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in Sales and Marketing, he served as the captain of the UWP hockey team competing in the ACHA.

He is employed by Legend.Direct as a sales representative in his hometown of Sun Prairie, WI.

Winning a Legend, A-Main at Angell Park Speedway, the track I grew up going to as a fan, is the biggest so far! A close second was a feature win in the Wipperfurth Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway.

Becoming a midget owner was a huge step for me. I've watched the midgets at Sun Prairie since I was an infant. Having a chance to work closely with some of my heroes as I was growing up is really special.
