October 29, 2011 the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association hosted their 75th award ceremony. This also included recognizing awards earned by Micro drivers.

Chad Bogar is the 2011 Micro Champion. He has 30 years of racing experience under his belt and that includes having raced four other car styles other than Micro. Originally from Pennsylvania, Chad claims that the only big difference with racing in Wisconsin is that there are fewer tracks. He has every intention of returning in 2012 to defend his Championship title.

Prestin Benisch finished second in Micro racing points and earned the Rookie or the Year title. The single most important element he learned this year was "not to rush things out of pure excitement and to make sure to do them right the first time. Don't push over the limit and take your take." He looks forward to returning for next season.

George Knudson finished third in Micro points. This was his fourth racing season and highest ranking so far. He has previous experience with Badger and the Upper Midwest Sprint Series.
