Jon LeJeune Passes After Long Battle
Former Badger Midget driver Jon LeJeune died on Monday Feb. 27 in New Castle, Wyoming. Born on August 2, 1966, LeJeune competed with Badger from 2001-2006 and the 2008 season. One of the more popular low budget racers, LeJeune’s engaging personality made him a “fan favorite” at Angell Park Speedway. LeJeune had battled cancer for the last nine years. In late October 2016 Jon and his mother moved from Decorah, Iowa to Wyoming. Shortly after the move he went into hospice care.
