$2,000 to Win ”Tribute to Mike Fell” Race Set for August 13 at Angell Park

A $2,000 first place check awaits the winner of the “Tribute to Mike Fell” memorial race, presented by Howard Law. The race will pay $150 to start. The Tribute to Mike Fell will be the feature event for the Mid-State Equipment / Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series on Sunday night, August 13 at Angell Park Speedway. The evening’s racing card will also feature the stars and cars of the Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Car Series, the Midwest Sprintcar Association and the Wisconsin Dirt Racing Legends Series.
The Tribute to Mike Fell presented by Howard Law event honors Mike Fell, the 1995 Badger Midget Rookie of the Year and Badger’s 1996 Most Improved Driver. Fell tragically lost his life at the track in an accident during the Trophy Dash in Badger’s season opener on May 25, 1997.
Said race presenter Marty Howard of Howard Law: “Not only was Mike one of my best friends, he was a great race car driver and an even better person. He was larger than life on and off the track. I am proud to be a part of this great Badger event honoring Mike.”
Grandstands open at 4:30 pm, practice and qualifying beginning at 5:30 pm, with racing to follow.
