Ruh Wins at Plymouth

Plymouth, WI, May 26-- 2017 Plymouth track champion Preston Ruh from Elkhart Lake, WI captured the season opener for Badger 600 Micro Series at the Plymouth Dirt Track. Ruh starting from the outside of row one, settled in at the start and began his pursuit of pole sitter Dave Collins. Collins led for the first half of the race before being black flagged with a rear brake issue that led to heavy sparks on the track. Ruh would capture the lead and hold off a threat from 2016 Badger Micro champion Tory Strauss in the closing laps.
Tory Strauss won the heat race.

The Badger 600 Micro Series will have a double header this weekend. They will return to the Plymouth Dirt Track Saturday night, and then onto Angell Park Speedway for the track's season opener.
