Doherty Back in 2025 and Marks 53 Days from the BMARA Opener at Beaver Dam Raceway
The photo shows Aaron Taylor behind the wheel as we didn't see the normal pilot of the #53 very often in 2024. During the season Miles Doherty was the shoe to start the year. A nasty tumble in the Wisconsin wingLESS ranks put him out for much of the schedule due to several injuries.
Doherty is healed up and ready to take on the 2025 season at a variety of venues. Here's the data on Miles, as we are just 53 days away from the Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Series opener at Beaver Dam Raceway on April 26.

Do you have any racing superstitions and/or race day routines?
Miles: Any time before i hit the track i always put my right glove on first, i also pray before every night gets started.
Is there any significance to your car number?
Miles: 53 was a team number.
What are your highlights from 2024?
Miles: I ran 3rd in the sprint car at Angell Park in our 3rd night out.
What are your plans for 2025?
Miles: We will run a mixed schedule between BMARA, MARA, Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Cars series, and a little bit of Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series.
