Jones Leads Doerr and Stark Going Into Badger/WoO Angell Park Go
(June 5, 2025)
Parker Jones, aka The Blue Mounds Bullet, leads Derek Doerr by just 170 points five races into the Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association season. Jones has been dominating thus far taking four of five A-Mains.
But for the Kankakee race, Doerr has been right around the top-five or better when the checkers have flown in every race helping him to occupy the current runner-up spot.
Kyle Stark, Cody Weisensel and Luke Wackerlin round out the top-five. Of those top drivers only Weisensel is still looking for his first career BMARA feature win.

Car counts have been strong with new rides appearing with Badger every race. Last weekend at Angell Park Speedway 28 drivers signed into the BMARA pits.
This Sunday, June 8, Badger shares the stage with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series as that famed organization will complete the final leg of the weekend's, "Badger State Triple." The two nights prior WoO will race at the Plymouth Dirt Track on Friday and Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday.
Of particular interest to Badger fans, Bill Balog who has raced in Badger sanctioned races, will be in his #17B sprint car. Several others among the WoO ranks with midget experience at Angell Park Speedway will be in the winged cars including the popular Rico Abreu.
