Vanderboom Wins 1st at Plymouth
Sun Prairie, WI-- Jack Vanderboom won his first Badger 600 micro series A-Feature Saturday night at the Sheboygan County fairgrounds in Plymouth WI. The opening lap Emily Portschy and series point leader Chad Bogar brought out the yellow when they tangled in turn one. On the restart Jerry Reif jumped into the lead and led the opening circuits. Vanderboom starting in the ninth position began moving through the field when the second caution came out on lap seven. Vanderboom had moved into third position and was looking for the lead on the restart. After a short battle with Reif, Vanderboom passed for the lead on lap nine a led the remaining laps for the victory. Jerry Reif finished second and Chad Bogar rounded out the top three. The next race for the Badger 600 micro series will be at Angell Park Speedway on July 2nd.
