AFS Badger Midgets Invade Northwoods

Sun Prairie, WI (June 15, 2023) - The Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget series is set to invade the Wisconsin Northwoods for the third doubleheader race weekend of 2023. On Friday, the series will make its lone stop at Gravity Park Speedway in Chilton, WI, and on Saturday will return to Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, WI for the second and final stop there this season.

Todd Kluever continues to lead the series standings ahead of Adam Taylor by just 51 markers. Taylor won the most recent stop at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, WI on June 11. Kyle Stark sits in third with Cody Weisensel and Daltyn England rounding out the top five.

The series' last visit to Gravity Park Speedway was on June 12, 2022, where England took his first-ever AFS Badger Midget series win over Mike Stroik and Kyle Koch. England will look to earn his first win of the season after six straight top-10 finishes since missing the A-Main at the Kankakee Speedway season opener.

Jace Sparks will look to make it two for two at the Plymouth Dirt Track this weekend after winning their back on May 20. Following him to the line were Weisensel and Kluever rounding out the top three.

Other notables on the season include rookie Parker Jones who earned his first career top-five at Angell Park back on June 4, Cody Weisensel who finished second at Plymouth on May 20, and Stark who has made his way up to third in the standings after getting upside down twice this season.

Friday and Saturday’s events will both be broadcast live on Badger Racing TV at www.badgerraicng.tv. Friday at Gravity Park spectator gates at 5 pm with racing to begin at 7 pm. Saturday at Plymouth opening ceremonies begin at 6 pm. Follow all the action at bmara.com or on the BMARA Racing Facebook page.
