Badger Midget Series and MyRacePass Team Up for Fantasy Racing
The Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association is part of the MyRacePass Fantasy Racing program. Some fans have found it already, we hope more will join the fun.
BMARA has set up an account listed as,"2024 Official AFS Badger Midget Series Fantasy Racing Contest." The season officially started with a soft opening May 19 and will run through the season.
Don't worry if you missed week-one, you only need to play 80% of the races to be eligible for the championship, so get going this weekend and join the fun. Play against the Badger Nation and perhaps the world.
The next Badger race is this Sunday, June 2, at Angell Park Speedway. The Fantasy winner of that event will receive two free tickets to the following race, June 8, at Sycamore Speedway. This prize is not transferable or good for any date but that one. We will contact the winner with details of how to collect the prize. In the event of a tie, a random drawing will choose the winner.
We will also award an overall point champion who will receive two tickets to the AFS Badger Midget Series Banquet. More details on that to follow.
Here are the directions on how to play:
Fans will need to be on the All-Access Plan in the MyRacePass app (Monthly or Yearly) in order to play Fantasy Racing each night. This subscription also includes Live Timing and driver insider stats and driver bios.
Fans can "Favorite" the track or series on the MyRacePass app to receive a notification when Fantasy picks are open each night.
On race night, the Fantasy Picks are opened (automatically) at the time the Heat Race or Qualifying lineups are set by the scorers using MyRacePass.
The Fantasy Picks become locked at the time the results of the first heat race are entered into MyRacePass - so fans have the time from heat/qualifying lineups are set to the time the 1st heat race results are in MRP to make their picks.
As the night continues, points for each driver will accumulate automatically throughout the night.
Fans can check their team in the standings under the Fantasy tab of the event on the MyRacePass app.
