Badger Midget Series Safety Inspections This Weekend And Other News
This Saturday, April 25, the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association will host its annual safety inspection for Badger cars.
Each car must be safety inspected before the first race.
Inspection times are from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at S & K Automotive, 4589 County Road TT, Sun Prairie, WI 53590.
In order to make this go smoothly, it is recommended that teams contact Quinn McCabe at 847-840-1344 to schedule an approximate time for the inspection.
SPEAKING OF THE FIRST RACE...
The Badger Midget Series opens its 2026 campaign on Friday, May 8, at Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa. This event is co-sanctioned with the Midget Auto Racing Association (MARA).
MARA's original season opener was pushed back due to weather and is now slated to start this Friday, April 24, at Lincoln Speedway, Lincoln, IL.
HALL OF FAME BANQUET DATE SET
July 12, at Angell Park Speedway, the BMARA will induct their third class into the Badger Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame. Times are still being finalized, but the induction/banquet will be held during the day, prior to Sunday's Racers' Reunion Night race at the historic track.
Harlin Kittleson, Randy Koch, Dave Shannon and Bob Walldan have all been contacted and all plan to attend. Badger is still trying to reach family members of the late Carl Marchese and Ray Richards who round out the six inductees this year. If anyone has a contact for the families of either Marchese or Richards please contact the BMARA.
